Our Prayer Ministry is an in-person experience. There are many reasons someone may want to come for prayer. They include:
Healing: Physical, Mental or Spiritual, sometimes all three.
Sickness and disease are sometimes part of the human condition. At times, medicine aides in helping, and other times it does not. According to the Bible, the beating (stripes) Jesus endured was for our healing. He not only took a physical beating in his flesh, but he took an emotional beating as well. Can you imagine? If you have ever suffered from being bullied, physically, sexually, or emotionally abused, betrayed, abandoned, or rejected, then you know firsthand the damage it does to the heart. The breaks, the cracks, the fragmented parts that are wounded. Jesus paid the price that we could be healed. Regardless of the type of healing you many need, we are here to pray for you and with you.
“Is there any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord” James 5:14
Deliverance: Many people are “afflicted” with torments, demonic oppression, fear (which the Bible calls a spirit) and other such issues. They are held in spiritual prisons they cannot break free from. This may manifest in many ways, but it is spiritual in nature. This includes, addictions, obsessions, compulsive habits, such as porn, gambling, sex, or generational patterns that run through families. Some examples of generational patterns include, adultery, divorce, premature death, babies born out of wedlock, generational poverty, criminal behavior and many more. In the Gospel of Mark, the writer speaks about the many times Jesus healed the sick, and in most cases, he cast out demons and the healing came as a result. Other times, he forgave their sins, told them to sin no more and healing came as a result. Afflictions come, because we live in a fallen world and we have an adversary who is seeking to steel, kill and destroy God’s creation.
Circumstantial: The present state of the world is uncertain and in upheaval. The pandemic ushered in fear, death, sickness and change in ways we may never recover from.
If you are struggling with a new set of circumstances that you did not chose, there is help. We may not always know or understand why things happen, but we know a God who does. He can bring peace and comfort to situations in one quick moment. He can even move mountains and change the course of a life just as quickly. .
